Cases studies in the treatment of eating disorders (In French)

Learn through listening to case studies and sharing experiences about the treatment of individuals with eating disorders.

Overview

This 3hr training is for dietitians, psychologists, psychotherapists and other health practitioners and will support your practice through case examples and interactive learning. Although individuals with eating disorders want to recover, the eating disorder can make it hard for them to fully engage in treatment in the short-term. There are so many places we can feel stuck and alone as a treatment provider. This training will provide 2 case studies for you to learn from and will give you the opportunity to share your professional struggles and challenges with others in a confidential and professional setting.

Objectives

  1. Provide 2 case studies that illustrate common challenges and struggles in the treatment of eating disorders and guidance on how to manage them.

  2. Allow for professionals to share their personal professional struggles with others in a small group setting and hear from other professionals about their challenges.

  3. Provide feedback and guidance on how to manage the challenges and struggles professionals are facing in the treatment of their clients with eating disorders.
